Changwon National University’s Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC+) recruited teams to participate in the 2021 Capstone Design Competition, by the 19th of November. Capstone design is a combination of the words, "capstone," and, "design," which means decorating the top of a building, such as stone pillars or walls, or the highest achievement, and refers to a subject that improves the practical problem-solving ability of industrial sites, by experiencing the entire process of planning, designing, and producing theories learned during undergraduate courses.
This competition aims to create a place for students to share ideas with professors, and to enhance students' creative perspectives and capabilities. Participating fields are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and non-STEM. Only teams that have performed capstone design tasks with LINC+ project support can participate. Students who want to participate shall check the notice on Changwon University's LINC+ Project Group website (http://lincplus.changwon.ac.kr/). They must then submit their applications, performance reports, and panel materials online on [program application → online program → Capstone Design]. The evaluation will be conducted through the application and PPT presentation evaluation within 10 minutes, and award-winning teams will be determined by calculating the scores of the evaluators, consisting of three to five internal and external members as arithmetic mean scores.
The evaluation criteria are creativity, social contribution and commercialization possibility, technology and completeness, and planning, with 25 points each. PPT presentation and Capstone Design work review will be conducted at 14:00 on November 24th in Room 406 of the Industry-Academic Cooperative Building 1 (No. 81).
