CWNU’s festival ran from September 22nd (Tues) to 24th (Thu). Even though there were difficulties in opening some booths, bars, and doing club performances due to rain on Wednesday, students enjoyed the festival. Also, there were unique programs for students to participate in. LOL competition and Ssireum contest were held and students became main characters through Superstar C.
Characterization business booths
Many departments operated their own bars during the festival. However, some departments opened a special booth related to their major. The Dept. of Fine Art ran a booth where students could make air fresheners of plaster, paint a wooden doll, and have a portrait made.
Students could gain a small perspective of pregnant women by wearing a pregnant belly in the Dept. of Child & Family and they could know how much sugar is in each food in Dept. of Food & Nutrition. Dept. of Special Education ran a booth that demonstrated the experience of a disabled person by wearing a device which prevented any movement of the leg or arm, and another which decreased eyesight and hearing ability.
Special guests
Various guests visited CWNU for the school festival. On Tuseday, Jeon Young-Jun and Cloud Templar visited the school and played LOL game with students and commentated it. According to the students, a tournament was held to select the participants a few weeks prior to the festival. On Wednesday, Zion T and Dynamic Duo brightened up the mood with their sweet voices and performance in spite of the rain. On the last day, Girlfriend marked the last night of the festival.
Various activities of CWNU students
Clubs prepared the festival and enjoyed it as much as the departments. Each club also prepared their own booths, showing their speciality. HABITAT, the architecture club, prepared a booth where people could hammer a nail into wood. Also, Ddangsarang, the music study club, played instruments in front of their booth.
