Oct. 1987 Had an inaugural meeting with the slogan, 'Alive vigorous brushstrokes'.

Apr. 1988 First issue printed on Apr. 7 as 'THE PONGRIM MIRROR'.

Mar. 1996 The title was changed to 'THE CHNAGWON UNIVERSITY QUARTERLY'.

Switched to be published quarterly.

Apr. 2000 The title was changed to 'The Campus Journal'.

Switched to be published monthly.

Apr. 2007 The 100th issue was published.

Jun. 2007 Started to share the same offices with the CWNU newspaper (Vol.101).

Switched to be published biweekly.

Apr. 2008 The 21st anniversary special issue was published.

Nov. 2014 The 200th issue was published

2. The Future of The Campus Journal

The goal of The Campus Journal is to let all members of CWNU read The Campus Journal and to be the newspaper presenting a vision for development of CWNU as a reliable university press. Continuously, The Campus Journal will exist for the all members of CWNU, and be an interactive newspaper, not a biased newspaper.

1980s and 1990s The reporters struggled to guarantee students' rights. By recording these happenings, we have not forgotten about those instances decades after. Through 'The Pongrim Mirror' in 1980s and 1990s, we recognised that the right, we take for granted, is achieved by our seniors' blood, sweat and tears.

2000s Students broadened their interests in the issue of welfare and employment. To keep them happy, The Campus Journal included a variety of features. Every issue, included different subjects, so the readers had a place for debating and could express their thoughts. Also, students could get tips about interviews and how to write their resumes through The Campus Journal in the 2000s.

2010s After opening a Facebook Account from September, 2014, the reporters write a brief introduction of every issue to be closer to the readers. The Facebook Account is connected with the QR code printed on the front page. The Campus Journal strives for overcoming the limitations of print media.
