The lounge is open from 10:00am to 7:00pm. It’s located on the 2nd floor of Sarim Annex, right next to the billiard center. A lot of students know about this place but do not use it because they are repulsed by English. However, at the English lounge, you don’t have to worry about it. Don’t let your fear of speaking English stop you from using this facility. You can come with your friends and just lounge around naturally. Actually, an average of 80-90 people visits the lounge every day.
What does the English lounge have to offer? A lot! First, there are games! Many students come here to play English games, and the most popular is “Halli Galli”, a game that can be played by 2 to 6 people. Second, talk! The English lounge is an “English-only” zone, and speaking in English is the rule. In order to improve your English, you must practice speaking it. Instructors are there to give level tests or just chat with. You can check the instructor’s timetable at the counter and come accordingly. Third, English movies! The lounge features a different movie everyday at lunchtime, or you can choose a movie to watch anytime. Fourth, books! The lounge has quite a big collection of English books, novels, textbooks, magazines, and newspapers. You can read them in the lounge but you cannot take them out.
The English lounge has all these cool things to offer and so much more.
