On June , at CECO convention hall, CWNU’s ‘19th Clothing&TextilesG Project Fashion Show’ was held, featuring the students of the College of Natural Science’s Dept. of Clothing & Textiles. The show celebrated Changwon becoming a united city in 2010. This year, the fashion show’s theme was ‘Storytelling’.

The students synthesized their subjective and objective, characteristics, stories, or experiencesnew and old designs in which the theme was emphasized. 2010 is a special year because Changwon City became a new city, as Changwon, Masan and Jinhae were united. So,the Dept. of Clothing&Textiles student’s show expressed a young and sensual point of view through the ‘Storytelling’ theme. Their show represented the newstory of the newly integrated Changwon.

Fashion show preparation chairperson Kim Su-Hyun said, “Our Dept. of Clothing & Textiles graduation fashion show is not just an exhibition among Changwon cultural events. The occasion is also a big event that will represent the start of another life, so give us a lot of encouragement, please.”

And the dean of the Dept. of Clothing & Textiles, Rue Eun-Jeong said, ”This fashion festival was prepared to celebrate the united Changwon city’s launch, and our wish that the local society and university grow together. Our department students who will lead the future of Korea’sfashionbusinessTheir work may not always meet everyone’s taste. But please give a round of applause for students who do their best.”
