Performers entertain the audience with Latin dance routine.

‘The World Culture Experience Exhibition’ was hosted from May 10th to 13th. It was held between the gymnasium and the parking lot. This exhibition aimed to widen students' vision and understanding of various cultures. The exhibition was under the supervision of 'The Good News Corps'. It was the first of such exhibition to attract students' attention about social service and multicultural diversity.

For 4 days, about 1,500 people visited the exhibition. Kindergartners and students from middle school located in Changwon City visited, along with CWNU students. Choi Jin-Young, a teacher of Bongrim middle school, said "My school is a model school of Gyeongnam Province Office of Education. My school is focusing on international relations and multicultural diversity. This culture exhibition helps our young students understand many other cultures and histories. There were various and helpful events and interesting performance. Thanks to CWNU and Good News Corps."

33 CWNU students have participated in overseas voluntary service with Good News Corps program. Through cultural exchange and mission work, they learned about the local people and their culture. They conducted nongovernmental diplomacy. Although they went hungry for days and lived without water and electric power, they could overcome difficulties and grew in poor surroundings.

Bang Hye-Hyeon(Dept. of English Language & Literature, 06) who is president of CWNU's Good News Corps said "I lived in difficult circumstances. I was discontented with my life. After overseas voluntary service in Uganda, my life was changed. In the beginnig, I thought I could give people a helping hand. But I received more love and help than I gave them. Except for the cost of boarding a plane, it was free of charge. I want to recommend voluntary service to other students. It will be a good experience to them. Finally, I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to my co-worker who went through all sorts of troubles with me."
