CWNU announced the 'Pride CWNU Project for Proper and Effective Teaching'. The Project is designed to lead to CWNU's selection as a leading university in the field of the department of advanced education. The project to support the leading university in the field of advanced education is promoted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The project will provide 3 billion won annually for 4 years.

The Pride CWNU Project has five goals and sixty projects to achieve these goals. The five goals are 'Good personality and character education, Creativity and wide ranging expertise education', 'Global empowerment', 'Attracting students with the best creativity and potential', and 'Improvement of the education system and infrastructure expansion.'

Ten projects were planned to achieve the character education goal, eleven projects were planned to achieve the creativity and expertise goal, five projects were planned to achieve global empowerment, three projects were planned to attract the best students, and thirty-one projects were planned to achieve improvements to the education system and infrastructure expansion.

President Park Seong-Ho said, "The department of advanced education is something which we had thought of long ago. Regardless of the Ministry's selection, I will enhance CWNU's competitiveness through achieving the department of advanced education. However, if CWNU is selected, the university will offer more opportunities, such as Training Abroad." The results of the Pride CWNU Project, and the selection by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, will be announced in early or mid-May.
