Last July, Changwon University completed the construction on the Sports Education Center. This center provides various sports facilities including a golf driving range, fitness center, wall climbing, and more. At first, this Physical Education Center was only accessible to students who are in the Department of Physical Education to conduct classes and practices. But now, all Changwon University students can access these facilities.

To use the golf driving range, students have to register for the golf classes and they can only register for the class during the registration period. The prices and the schedules of the classes are posted on the website of the Changwon Lifelong Education Center. The golf driving range is also available to visitors. Changwon University students can register for the class with a 30 percent discount when students present school ID. The golf driving range is open from 7:30 am to 9 pm on weekdays and 7:30 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and closed on Sunday. Applicants are free to use it during the class period when there is no golf lesson in the department of physical education. In addition, students can borrow golf clubs, but there are only limited clubs, 6 No.7 Iron golf clubs and some other golf clubs.

To give some information about the fitness center, Changwon University students and faculty members are allowed to access the fitness center without charge, but no visitors are allowed in the facility even with payment. To enter the facility, the students need to give their name and student number to the work-study student. In case the work-study student is not around, students have to call “CAPS” to request entry. Students can use all the sports equipment from 6 am to 10 pm on weekdays and weekends and have access to the showers until 11 pm. Moreover, students must bring indoor running shoes to use the sports equipment and no towels or toiletries are provided.
