A eco-friendly and healthful woodland path

CNU makes a woodland path on campus. CNU hopes member’s promotion of health and settlement of culture in their work place. In addition, a woodland path will offer a space of exercise. CNU set a goal of protecting the environment in construction. The construction laborers preserve the existing natural features and minimize damages of the environment. A woodland path is closely connected with a eco-friendly pond in front of dormitory of CNU.

A woodland path is divided into two sections. First section is as follows. You start from College of Economics and Business(21st building) and go through a water tank, then arrive at building of Reserve Officers Training Corps(ROTC). Second section is as follows. You start from dormitory and go through both a water tank and College of Economics and Business, then arrive at building of ROTC. It will take 40 minutes to an hour in walking.

The period of construction is from October 5th to 31st. The construction expenses are about 15 million won. The details of construction are weeding out from a woodland path, establishment of a direction board, and making stairs.


A eco-friendly and educational pond

CNU improves a pond on campus. A pond will open its door for Changwon citizens. Park Seong-Ho who is the president of CNU proposed this eco-friendly and educational pond construction. The facility affairs section of CNU planed out fundamental project and cooperate with Changwon City. CNU pays 1 billion won and Changwon city pays 500 million won.

The details of construction are making a woodland path, making a plaza, removing barbed-wire entanglements, and breaking down walls. The period of construction is from October 5th to next February. The pond will be used as an eco-friendly place having some birds and water plants.
