The marathon course was a 5-kilometer round trip from CWNU to the Changwon Rotary. The individual segment started first at 3:30, and the group competition started 10 minutes later. “I was powerful and energetic at the beginning of this competition, but I was exhausted at the end,” said Lee A-reum (Dept. of Nursing). “It was hard because the weather was very hot and humid, so I wanted to ride in an ambulance. But I made the effort to finish the course, and I feel great now even though I finished in 53rd place.”
Meanwhile, Lee Jae-won (Dept. of Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering) won first prize in the men’s individual division, and Ann Sun-hwa (School of Nano & Advanced Materials Engineering) won first prize in the women’s individual division. The ROTC team was the winner of the group competition. Winners of the individual divisions were given 200,000 won, and the winner of the group competition was given a refrigerator.
