The, "Non-Subject Top Talent Scholarship," That Can Be Received Through Participation in the Non-Subject Program

Changwon National University has various kinds of scholarships that students can benefit from. Therefore, students can receive scholarships by striving in various fields such as grade point averages, foreign languages, and non-subject activities. The, ‘Non-Subject Top Talent Scholarship,’ is a scholarship provided by CWNU, to select and pay outstanding undergraduate students, who have obtained Non-Subject Mileage, by participating in the competency-specific, non-subject certification target program. This is a system that increases student’s participation in non-subject programs and creates opportunities for many students to receive scholarships.

Any undergraduate student who meets the qualification requirements, can apply for the, ‘Non-Subject Top Talent Scholarship.’ The requirements for scholarship benefits are undergraduate students who remain enrolled until the time of scholarship payment, excluding students on leave, graduates, and those who exceed the regular completion semester. In addition, you must complete at least 6 credits in the previous semester and meet the scholarship criteria for this school, which has an average grade of 2.5 or more in the previous semester.

There are a total of two types of selection criteria for Non-Subject Top Talent Scholarship Accumulated and Selected type. The Accumulated type must meet the cumulative score of Non-Subject Mileage of at least 60 points, beginning March 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021, based on admissions. The prize amount is 100,000 won and you can apply once, while attending school. The Selected type to be selected as the person who has the most mileage beginning January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. The amount awarded for the Best is 400,000 won, for the Excellent: 300,000 won, and for the Encouragement: 200,000 won. The selection is based on the score obtained in 2021 and it will be held in January 2022. In the same year, duplicate benefits of the Accumulated type and the Selected type, are not possible. Also, The Selected type applicant must participate in at least three categories in the Educational, Competition, Service, Counseling, Research, and Exploration type.

The, ‘Non-Subject Top Talent Scholarship,’ is always operated while attending the mileage accumulation period. The mileage accumulation for the second semester will be recognized from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. The mileage input to close on January 5, 2022. Mileage can be confirmed from January 6, 2022 to January 12, 2022. Correction and additional accumulations are not possible after the confirmation period, so care should be taken not to omit comparison and mileage for each semester. Notification of beneficiary and application for scholarships are to be carried out in early February 2022. Non-Subject mileage can be found in [CWNU Edream]-[Portfolio]-[Non-subject mileage]. After checking, if you fit the targets and conditions of the application, you can apply for a, ‘Non-Subject Top Talent Scholarship,’ at the [CWNU Edream]-[Portfolio]-[Non-subject Certification]-[Non-curricular Top Talent Scholarship]. Participating in various comparisons and programs not only allows you to build qualifications for future employment, but also allows you to meet various people and experience innovative opportunities that you haven't experienced before. At the same time, you can accumulate Non-Subject mileage to fill graduation requirements, and even receive scholarships.
