On Tuesday, March 2, "Coopsket" opened on the Changwon University campus after completing construction over the vacation Coopsket has two locations, one in Bonglim Hall and the other in the Central Library. Coopsket is a combination of COOP(Cooperative) and BASKET(Basket), which refers to a college life cooperative, beacause it is a store run by a university life cooperative. "Coopsket" is a chain created by E-Mart 24 and the University Life Cooperative, and is supplied with E-Mart 24 products. Also, the unmanned snack bar system of E-Mart 24 is being operated by Changwon University's Living Cooperative, so students can use it 24 hours a day at any time. Coopsket is open 24 hours a day and is receiving keen attention from students, especially after holding a variety of opening events.

The biggest feature of Coopsket is that it operates 24 hours a day as an inducement and late at night as an unmanned service. According to Choi Jung-yoon, second year in history at Changwon University who used Coopsket, "It is good for students to be able to go to convenience stores at any time at Coopsket.” Kang Jin-joo, second year in the history department, also said, "Other school convenience stores closed early on in the pandemic, so dormers have been inconvenienced because they were unable to use convenience stores late at night. This problem seems to have been solved by Coopsket, which runs 24 hours a day.”

Changwon University Coopsket will hold various opening events and discount events from March 2nd to 31st, as a way to make up for the inconvenience students experienced during the remodeling and construction period. First of all, aAmericano coupons at Bonglim Hall Cafe will be given to 2,300 people on a first-come, first-served basis if they make a purchase of more than 10,000 won. Theoothpaste and toothbrush sets will be given to 2,300 people as well.

Secondly, Coopsket is holding a hashtag event on SNS. If students leave a picture of their purchase with the hashtag ‘Changwon univ, a livelihood cooperative association’, ‘Changwon univ, Coopsket’, ‘Changwon univ, snack bar’ and show it to the counter, they will receive travel tissues. Finally, all students who used Coopsket will be given a raffle ticket for ‘Yukgyejang’ noodles until the lottery tickets run out. However, corporate credit cards and stationery are excluded from all events. There is also the “three to five” event. Ramen and 500ml bottled water can be purchased for 300 won, and coffee and vitamin drinks for 500 won. In addition, cup noodles, detergent 1+1 events, and discounts on certain products such as toilet paper and masks are also available. Details are at the entrance of the store.

Changwon University Coopsket is expected to increase student’s convenience and welfare by letting students have easy access to convenience stores on campus. Unlike before when there were no convenience stores on campus open after 12:30 at night. Coopsket is expected to be frequented more by students who stay up late. They can now save themselves the trouble of going to the suburbs. In the future, I hope that students at Changwon University will be more interested in Coopsket and actively utilize the advantages of Coopsket.
