Come to the cherry blossom festival here on campus!

Beginning last year, the cherry blossom festival at CWNU’s dormitory lake will be held for the second time to mark the beginning of spring. This festival was loved by our classmates and Changwon citizens and is expected to be popular again from April 4-6, just in time for the cherry blossoms.

The festival is hosted by Step by Step (The 34^th student council in CWNU), and the programs will mostly be the same as last year. Large crowds of classmates are expected because of the location being directly in front of the dormitories. During the week of events, each booth will have various displays and food. Last year, the booths were organized by clubs and applicants through SNS such as Facebook. Like last year, there will be mini games in which students can participate for free and all can enjoy the festival pleasantly.

The booths will be open for three days from noon (12:00) to night (23:00), so that everyone can have a chance to enjoy the beautiful trees and atmosphere. The night view of the cherry blossom trees along the lake are also known among students as the pride of CWNU. The one thing that cannot be missed in the festival is the celebration performance featuring school clubs which represent our school. Besides this, other programs such as busking, a funny quiz and Step by Step’s theater will also provide entertainment for students. Cho Seung-jae, the director of planning in Step by Step said he prepared activities and events for students. He hopes the CWNU community will come with light hearts and make good memories at the festival.
