Take Care of Our Mother

The family members are looking for their missing mother. While they are tracing the tracks left behind by their mother, they are restoring their memories about her. The whole process of looking for their mother is like the story of a detective novel. The story unfolds, keeping a sense of tension. The family members have always thought that their mother would stay near them and provide them with an endless amount of love. Their mother becomes more important to them than ever, as she is missing. Each chapter tells different stories in the views of the children and the husband looking for mother and wife. It even tells a story in the view of their missing mother. As the view changes from daughter and son to husband, the memories about the missing mother who has spared her life for the family unfold. The whole story describes the life of the missing mother and the inner side of each family member in details. The novel will definitely make the readers recognize the importance of the mother’s love.

The Notebook

The movie focuses on an old man reading a story to an old woman in a private hospital. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun. Their engagement was broken off because of their parents￠쪾 opposition. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. They meet again most dramatically. Allie has to choose between her fiance and her first love. The elderly woman is Alice so demented that she can’t even recognize her own family members. Elderly Allie suddenly remembers her past before she and Noah joyfully spend a brief intimate moment together. She lost consciousness shortly and was taken to the nearby hospital. He goes to Allie’s room later that night, and Allie remembers again. The next morning, having both died peacefully holding each other’s hands. Personally, I think I’ve learned what love is through the film.
