The book counts as a masterpiece. This was a subject that was reflected, which represents the attitude about the cycle of life and death. What’s more, it represents a soul is the being idea. The writer has an active imagination. The book also became a best seller, selling 350,000 copies to date. Bernardwerber is the author of God, and has also written several other books, including Thanatonaute, and Ant. The attempt to investigate the history of mankinds by combining Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism with Greek-Roman myths, is an ambitious plan. We needed 9 years to design and complete this project. BernardWerber said that he started to write God with an imaginary idea that there are witnesses somewhere in the universe who have watched the history of the earth from the beginning. In his opinion, the history of mankinds on the earth has been carried out based on massacre and betrayal. The current history we are aware of is the one of the winner recorded in the winner’s side. If there is a true witness of the history, it is God. Such an idea was the starting point for this novel.
In German-occupied France, Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa. Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she works as an operator of a cinema. She conceals her identity. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine organizes a small number of Jewish soldiers to target the vengeance. The organization name is “Basterds”.
Frederick Zoller is attracted to Shosanna and convinces Goebbels to hold the premiere in her cinema. Shosanna realizes that the presence of so many high ranking Nazi officials and officers provides an excellent opportunity for revenge. She resolves to burn down her cinema using the massive dynamite. They wove a plot to assassinate the Nazi. The cinema is destroyed, killing all inside.
