Jang Jin-Yeong, an actress, passed away on the first day of September. Her fans, officials of entertainment company, deplored her death, as well as her family and acquaintances. Jang Jin-Yeong left us like the fragrance of chrysanthemum. More than 1,200,000 volumes of the book were sold before being made into a movie. That has already been a favorite book of people.
The Fragrance Of Chrysanthemum has become popular again since her death. The story is that Inha, the main male character, begins his campus life in Korea after graduating from the middle school and high school in the United States. Inha, a freshman, saw the courageousness of Hee-Jae who stood up to face unfairness in a subway station and fell in love with her after smelling the fragrance of chrysanthemum.

Inha meets Hee-Jae again who became the chairman of book club of the university. Inha confesses his love to her, but Hee-Jae dismisses it saying that was just the one-time passion of the past. However, Inha is in despair because of his irresistible love toward her. A few years later, Inha becomes a radio MC and announces his deep love that he cherished in his heart towards Hee-Jae on a radio program when she was isolating herself from the world after losing her finance and her parents in accidents. Later, Inha and Hee-Jae spend happy times together as lovers. One day, Hee-Jae came to know that she was ill, and the story is unfolding, showing what an ardent love is.

Her death makes our heart empty who lived a life similar to the one in the movie “Fragrance of Chrysanthemum”
