Most Korean students are concerned about getting a job but some of them don¡¯t even know what they want to be in the future. However, at CWNU there is a student who has specific goals and tries to achieve those. I interviewed Trung Nam Hoàng (Dept. of Journalism & Mass communication).
Q. What brought you to Korea?
Hoàng: My mother got married to a Korean man. He brought me here about 3 years ago.
Q. I am wondering about your college life. Would you tell me about it?
Hoàng: After I had been in Korea for 3 months I went to school. First, I studied Korean. Afterwards I entered the department of Journalism & Mass communication in 2013. I like my major and it suit me.
Q. I think you may have a lot of problems in Korea. Can you tell me a little about your life here?
Hoàng: The hardest thing for me is Korean. I can¡¯t communicate effectively with others sometimes. Sometimes I can¡¯t understand what people are saying to me. I get really annoyed when I can¡¯t say what I want to say.
Q. I heard that you visited Vietnam this summer vacation. Would you tell me about that?
Hoàng: I did 4 things in Vietnam. First, I visited my family. Second, I helped shoot a TV show where I worked as a camera assistant. Third, my friend made a short film so I did the color editing to help him. Finally, I wrote a script and made a short film with my friends. I am still editing that film right now.
Q. I heard that you are really interested in videos and pictures. I want to know what your goals are.
