It is difficult to be a globally competent person. Because a study abroad costs for us much money. So CNU decided to expand financial supports. On Septmeber 9th, CNU provided 11 international exchange program participants with 110 million won. A student is going to study at Nebraska-Lincoln University in U.S.A., five students are going to study at Michigan Technological University in U.S.A. and four students are going to study at London Metroplitan University in England.

They should take lessons with the natives, do reports, and test their comprehensions. CNU recognizes units of foreign universities. It helps the exchange students save time.

Lee Young-Hwan(Dept. of Control & Instrumentation engineering), a member of international exchange program participants, said “I’m glad that my efforts have come to fruition. The importance of English conversation grows up more and more in international society. I am worried about unfamiliar life environment. But this program helps me experience other country’s culture and lifestyle. I will be a global leader and engineer who represents Korea. Owing to the CNU’s financial assistance, I saved a lot of money. I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to CNU.

I want to recommend this program to you.” A official of the International Affairs said “Although the students are going to feel difficult in other country, this program will contribute to bringing up global leaders.”

Next program of studying abroad is scheduled for a month during the winter vacation. Although specific schedule is not determined, you will probably study at the London Metroplitan University in England, the RV College of Technology in India, and the Weihai Branch of Shandong University in China.
