Nabi means butterfly. Club name makes us curios about it.
Lee So-Young, chief of nabi, said that club nabi means ‘until do it for me’ in Korean short word. Truly, they realized that nabi must think of Korean history, although it is dishonor things. So she decided to change this situation. And nabi started ‘Butterflies fly’.
Club thinks that nabi members must know Korea’s true history. So ‘Nabi’ focused on the study and debate for our history. Unlike high school, we thought we made a chance to study history actively and debate history. So twice a week, we hold club meeting . In the first term, we focused on modern history of Korea, and world history is second term theme.
Not only do they study in club room, but they went to a trip of inspection. They already went to Gyung-ju, where many Sin-ra remains exist, and to Gwang-ju where May 18 democratic uprising happened.
She said she loves ‘Nabi’. Through many activities, club members share their own ideas, their feelings and so on. While doing so, they felt each other like a family.
