From the moment The Campus Journal was launched in October 1987, people knew it would be special. Today, we published the 200th issue on October 17th, 2014.

On behalf of The Campus Journal, I would like to say thank you to the readers for giving everyone involved fervent support and trust until now.

The Campus Journal has delivered vivid analysis of university society and university education for the last 27 years, and we have tried to make our youthful voice heard in CWNU as a member of the university society. The Campus Journal has dealt with issues ranging from the wish for democracy in the late 1980s through to the early 1990s to the unemployment crisis in the late 1990s through the 2000’s. We certainly believe that we have circulated information in the university, made a place for communication and took the lead in expressing ideas and spreading a culture of community through topics that can gain sympathy from school members.

Now, The Campus Journal is facing new challenges due to a low readership and indifference with the limits of print media in the Smartphone age. Readers are requiring quality contents more than ever and want to receive prompt information using SNS. We will try to match theses needs of readers through our youthful passion and bold experimental spirit, and form the right public opinions through active communication with our readers. We promise to hold our corner up as a university press and reinvent ourselves over and over again.
