Different from how it used to be, freshmen went to pre-university for two nights and three days from March 6th to 8th. Pre-university was held by all colleges. At the time, pre-university not only promoted friendship between seniors and juniors, but also provided educational information helpful for college life. To know more about pre-university in detail, I followed the pre-university of the College of Economics & Business. Day 6 at 2 p.m., freshmen arrived at the Jung-ang Heights condominium in Namwon, Jun-nam. After unpacking, freshmen did some ice breakers. Then, there was a variety of education time for freshmen, including sex education, job education, and finance education. The finance education was especially impressive, because it shows that the college considered the characteristic of College of Economics & Business.
At 6 p.m., after having the educational forum, freshmen had a delicious dinner. Also, students had time to get together with their own majors. Playing games that each major prepared, the night grew late. Of course, there’s a time to drink and students may do so if they want, without pressure. It was a nice time. I felt that many students had high awareness. On the second day, students enjoyed playing in the yard. Playing some games between each department in College of Economics & Business, and the whole college became intimate. After that, every department got together in a hall, and had a recreational talent show. Dances and songs that freshmen prepared were impressive. Time flew like an arrow and students went back to school. Students looked a little tired, and they were sad to say goodbye. Pre-university may be lots of help to freshmen to adjust to the university. I hope that many freshmen enjoy the profitable university life!
