Kim Tae-Wan(dept of. business administration, senior) took the first prize at the first half year ceremony of awarding prizes on October 27th. As his accumulated earning rate is 263.56%, he beated every university student in this contest to win first place.

GS-Caltex Star Wars University student Investment Contest is under the joint sponsorship of the Korean Economic Daily and financial investment organization.

The contest was organized by Han Gyung Dot Com. This provides university students from all over the country with education on stock investment. And it cultivates young men of talent by grafting the education on stock onto a mock investment game. They want to cultivate manpower of ability in the field of stock in early stages. Another purport of this contest is to increase understanding about a capital market. Excellent students entered into a stock industry through the last 2008 contest, and it is also expected for excellent students selected by getting through the preliminaries and the final to enter into a stock industry in this year.

Star Wars University student Investment Contest is enhancing the prestige of itself as a representative stock investment contest.
