Lee seun-min(dept. of chemical engineering doctoral degree candidate) was awarded for the excellent dissertation in 2009 Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers Fall Meeting. Awarded dissertation is under the title of “Hydrate to mix gas phase equilibrium containing TBAB.” This dissertation was done with the help of Cha in-uk(master’s degree candidate) and Seo young-won(professor).

Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers Conference is one of the biggest conferences in Korean chemical engineering field. It was held from October 21th to 23th in Illsan KINTEX under the motto of “Chemical Engineering Changes the World.” This conference had presentation of thesis, special symposium, CEO forum, lectures from invited professors, and the chemical engineering competition named “Fun&Fun” by students.

Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers is the representative chemical engineering association, with the aim of splendid communication among engineers and developing techniques through scientific journals or presentation of thesis.
