CWNU is going to build a new dormitory. The dormitory will be a Build-Transfer-Lease (BTL) project.
CWNU students live in various dormitories composed of six types of buildings: The Building of Sincerity, The Building of Truth, The Building of Creation, The Building of Liberty and two BTL buildings. Although many kinds of dorm buildings are provided to CWNU students, there are too many applicants to house them all. So the new dormitory is great news for many CWNU students. The new building will have a capacity of 500, so it will be able to accommodate 30% of students.
Construction began in the summer of 2013, and it will be completed in 2015. Students will be able to reside in the building starting in March 2015. It will include various amenities such as rooms for married couples, a gym, and a communal kitchen. “I heard the news about the new dormitory,” said Son Eun-bi (Department of Nursing). “I have lived in a dormitory for a year, and I am curious about the existing buildings. Some amenities and facilities are very old, so I hope some repairs to do those first.”
