A business manager is counseling CWNU students in the general human resource development center of Durae Hall

September tells start of the new semester. Companies are marching into the campus. It is because there is campus recruiting of major companies before starting of the open recruiting. Human resource director of each company visits the universities to find the elites and have job representations and 1:1 counseling with students. In addition, it is a good opportunity to make a good image of their company to students, who are going to be a future consumer. The campus recruiting was held at CWNU just like in last March.


Companies invited for this year's recruiting includes Doosan Engine, an affiliate of Doosan, Hanhwa TechM(9.1), Doosan DST(9.5~9.6), Doosan Infracore(9.5~9.6), Samsung Techwin(9.8~9.9), and other groups make up seven companies total.


The recruiting was progressed at special employment place on first floor of general human resource development center in Durae Hall for CWNU's graduates and future graduates regardless of major. At the recruiting, they provided practical help, such as employment counseling, company presentation, qualification for application, annual income, benefits and other employment related information such as resume and essay review.


From the job- seeker's point of view, campus recruiting is a great opportunity to know about the company by meeting with actual employees. It is possible to get a chance to get employed if use this campus recruiting well. However, not many students participated. There were only thirty students who participated at the day's recruiting.

Jang Jae-young, the graduate of Dept. of Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, (the chief of Doosan Engine) states " Doosan Engine has a good image of CWNU students. So, we are only having a campus recruiting at CWNU and the Yeungnam University(YU) out of many universities in Kyung-nam. However, as a senior of these students, I feel pitiful for CWNU students because they gave up even before they tried. If you knock, the door opens. I wish students of CWNU have courage and apply for company and get in the company."


Seo Jeong-ho ( Dept. of International Relations, 08) said, " I participated at the recruiting after I read about the recruiting at the school homepage. I could ask the seniors of my school in a relaxed environment and it was impressive how they wanted to tell more to their junior colleagues. This recruiting was a great experience of thinking about the employment and I felt sorry for students who did not participate.
