The day's main event was the presentation of award certificates for long-serving professors and university personnel. Forty people received these awards, which were presented to 24 professors (30 years of service-9 people, 20 years-10 people, 10 years-5 people) and 16 other workers (30 years of service-4 people, 20 years-8 people, 10 years-4 people).
During the presentation, Park Seong-Ho, President of CWNU, said,” We are trying to complete the new central library early, and I hope to help members of the university to initiate the establishment of CWNU's medical college to secure an engine of future growth. Also, our university celebrates its 42nd anniversary this year. We are getting stronger each year, and wish to stand as a prestigious university in the eyes of all the world. Finally congratulations to Prof. Lee Chan-gyu on his election as new CWNU president.”
