This job fair offered a lot of employment opportunities; interview, counseling, and recruitment. In addition, many job seekers took advantage of useful services, such as a vocational aptitude test, image consulting, a resume clinic, a beauty salon, and a photo studio. Jo Don-Sik, a junior student in the Department of Journalism & Mass communication said, ¡°I am a first year student. However, I worry about my future, so I came to this fair to plan ahead. I observed that it is not to easy to obtain a job. I felt that I must study hard in my major.¡±
The General Human Resources Development Center of CWNU aims to increase the percentage of employment, with its slogan ¡°80 percent employment in 2011¡±. It makes a constant effort to increase employment. The Center will introduce various employment programs by the end of this year. The proposed programs are a supporting program for talented people, an employment camp, a program to acquire MOS (Microsoft Office Master) certificate, and a program to improve graduates¡¯ skills in employment. Park Yun-Ho (Dept. of Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Engineering) who participated in employment program said, ¡°I received assistance in preparing the interview. The center informed me about attitude, etiquette and tips for interviews. The mock interview was equal to an actual interview and a tense atmosphere could be felt during the interview. This was a very good opportunity for me to check myself. Through the efforts of the center, I was able to react with equanimity to upsetting questions in an actual interview. Finally I got a job in ¡®Volvo Construcion Equipment¡¯. I want to recommend this program to other students.¡±
