Spring has come. In March, when the cherry blossom season begins, many people go on an outing to enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The newspaper conducted a two- day, 'Cherry Blossom Attraction Survey,' to find out where CWNU students usually visit to view cherry blossoms and why they do so. A total of 70 students from CWNU responded to the survey. As a result of the survey, the most preferred cherry blossom spot was, 'CWNU Lake Park Cheongunji (25.8%).' CWNU students enjoyed visiting Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station (21.2%), Yongji Lake Park (20.5%), and Jinhae Yeojwacheon Romance Bridge (15.2%) to see cherry blossoms.

CWNU Lake Park Cheongunji, one of the best spots, is a tourist attraction that is loved by visitors for its spring flower outing. The following attractions are: the Rose Garden, Cheongunmaru, and the Metasequoia Forest in CWNU Lake Park Cheongunji. Visitors to Cheongwonji can enter the Rose Garden with colorful roses along the trail of the circumference trekking way. In addition to roses, the Rose Garden is planted with hydrangeas, irises, changpo and cherry sage, so you can enjoy the scent and beauty of various flowers depending on the season. In addition, Cheongunmaru, a shelter, is installed in Cheongunji. Cheongunmaru is an open convergence learning space created with an eco- friendly deck. Cheongunmaru is used as a creative learning space for CWNU students and a space for local residents to talk and relax. In the back of Cheongunmaru, the Metasequoia Forest was built. The Metasequoia Forest, a photographic attraction, is spectacular at sunset. These days, with the gentle spring breeze blowing, why don't you walk lightly along the circumference trekking way of CWNU Lake Park Cheongnji after lunch?

Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station was selected as the second best spot. Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station, famous as a cherry blossom spot in Gyeongsangnam- do Province, has suspended passenger business since 2006. Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station is located between Seongjusa Station and Jinhae Station, and is a photo spot where cherry blossom tunnels extend along the railroad. If you want to feel the romance of the railroad track, walk freely on the railroad track while looking at cherry blossoms at Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station.

Yongji Lake Park, selected as the third best spot, is an eco- friendly flatland trail representing Changwon city. The attraction is a place where many people are constantly visiting, as it was selected as a beautiful city park from across the country in 2006. Yongji Lake Park is representative of Yongji Lake Eoulim Library, waterfront promenade and grass square, a fountain show, and boating on the lake. The Yongji Lake Eoulim Library in the park is equipped with books focusing on children's books as well as literary and cultural books, and you can read while looking at the lake. When the weather starts to get warm, the grass square in Yongji Lake Park is crowded with people who came to enjoy picnics. In addition, the fountain show, which runs from April to October, is spectacular with 13 types of varying water and light displays. Yongji Lake Park is located about a 15- minute walk from the main gate of CWNU. Since it is located close to the school, why don't you go on a picnic to Yongji Lake Park?

In addition to the Top 3 cherry blossom attractions counted by the survey, various cherry blossom attractions are located throughout Changwon. Yeojwacheon Stream, known as the Romance Bridge, has a feast of rapeseed flowers on both sides of the stream. If you want to enjoy the cherry blossom tunnel drive, we recommend Anmin Pass, which has a great sunrise, sunset, and night view. If you take the monorail located at Anmin Pass and climb Jehwangsan Mountain, you can see the peaceful urban landscape at a glance. In addition, the Jinhae Gunhang Festival, Korea's representative cherry blossom festival, will be held for the first time in four years. From March 25 to April 3 the festival will be held at Jungwon Rotary in Jinhae- gu, Changwon. In March, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, why don't you go on an outing to Changwon's cherry blossom attraction introduced earlier, with light clothes?
