Finish up your day with some healing cheerful movies

Get one week off with some cheerful healing movies! Do you know calm healing movies that can be a comma in your weary routine? Recently, healing movies have brought fun impressions to audiences without stimulating them with violent material. Since relaxation has become a luxury for the busy and weary modern people, audiences can feel satisfaction through healing cheerful movies. They also have the time to reorganize themselves by being comforted with sympathetic to the heart dialogue. Here are three healing cheerful movies: Little Forest, Flipped, and Begin Again, all of which will make you feel at ease with their color and content.

  1. Little Forest
Little Forest is a remake of a Japanese comic book by Igarashi Daisuke. Little Forest is composed of a four-part series; Summer - Autumn - Winter – Spring. These were popularized by youngsters based on the empathy of 20-30 audiences. Main characters and friends return to their hometowns in an urban life. It is a movie that tells the story of facing the past while self-catering with crops and vegetables that are farmed during the four seasons. Each season, seven dishes appear. The audience is immersed into the screen with the movie’s color and sound. The story of the main character, who heals the heart in the city, tells contemporary people, who live purposeless lives from their busy daily life, to think about where their direction of life is headed. For those who think success is only found in their results, this movie emphasizes the importance of the process of living with a heart of sincerity. Having the courage to start a weary routine or seek honest results, speaks towards the necessity of resting for a life that can get better and better. Little Forrest encapsulates it all.
  2. Flipped
Do you have memories of your first love? The first love during childhood is the most unfulfilled, and it will not be an experience that lasts a lifetime. Flipped, which means 'at first glance', is a romance piece with a feeling of first love. It was released in 2010 by director Rob Rinner in the United States and has been enjoyed by many thus far. The two main characters, Julie and Brice, first appear at the age of 7. They then are going through the adolescence period, where they first become aware of what love feels like. It is a film that reminisces about the backdrop of the 1950s and 1960s and the pureness of children's images that seem to cleanse even the hearts of the audience. Julie's monologue, sitting on a large tree in the village, says, "Some meet ordinary people, some meet polished people, some meet shining people. But everyone, once in a lifetime, meets a brilliant person like a rainbow.” The film is one that brings back many memories to the audience and allows others to rethink the memories of their first love.
  3. Begin Again
Aired in Korea in 2014, Begin Again, starring Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo, mainly focuses on music. The most famous song of this movie is "Lost Stars", a song by Maroon 5 vocalist, Adam Levine. Many people know the song, even if they did not see the movie. As such, this film is a movie that has had a significant impact on OST. Since most of the story depends on OST, it reveals the protagonist character. Additionally, the position and angle of the camera makes the audience feel as if they are watching the scene right in front of them. A man and a woman, who have experienced their personal frustrations throughout the film, eventually meet at a bar for the first time. As the story developments, they become one with music and define the goal in which they share. "I like music because of this. Even the most boring everyday moments are meaningful. This mundane moment suddenly turns into a beautifully shining pearl. That's music”, said the actor of the main character, emphasizing that music fills depression and emptiness.
