After watching the movie About Time starring Rachel McAdams, I tried to find more movies she acted in because of the lovely girl she had performed in the movie that made me go crazy for her for days. Fortunately, I found a well-made movie from more than ten years ago, The Notebook. The film is very touching and is based on a book about the love of a couple in their youth and how it still lasted as they grew older.
Ryan Gosling, who played the character of Noah tried to prevent Rachel McAdams who played Allie from losing their precious memory of love they had when they were young and beautiful by reading a journal he kept. It contains the story of their love and reads it to her every day. In the beginning of the movie, she does not recognize Noah but she realizes that it’s her true love for a short period of time. We can realize why the title of this movie and book is The Notebook from the scene he reads to her.
Noah first saw her at a carnival in town and he fell in love at first sight when he saw the way she smiled. They were only 17 years old when they met and were in such different circumstances but they were convinced that no love could replace the one they had and loved each other passionately.
|The movie shows how strong love can be|
However it wasn’t long before they were encountered with obstacles that separated them. Allie’s parents rejected Noah for his poverty and decided to move to a different place and Noah was forced into war.
By chance, Noah sees Allie with her with her fiancée and she soon found Noah too. After seeing his first love that she could never dare to forget, she chose Noah and marries him. Although their love had to suffer adversity, they eventually met each other as their destiny. This film is a true masterpiece that leaves a long-lasting messages.
