The Blind Side, which will be released on April 15, was released in the United States first. In the US, This movie was popular with audiences. Sandra Bullock, who plays the heroine, won Best Actress at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards.

Michael Oher is an 18 year old black man who weighs 155kg. His father was murdered, and his mother is a drug addict. He doesn't have a home. So he lives from hand to mouth, day-to-day. Once cold day, Michael is walking an empty street wearing short-sleeves. Accidentally Leigh Anne and Sean, a married couple, find him. They bring him to their house and put him up, because he went to the same school as their son, and they know each other.

This one night paves the way; Leigh Anne's family adopts Michael. Once they are family, Leigh Anne and Sean make every effort to provide a good athletic and study environment for Michael. Michael does his best in sports and study for his new family, and grows at last into an All-Amerian senior highschool football player.As a result, he is recruited by major university football teams. And in 2009, Oher was selected in the first round of the National Football League (NFL) draft, by the Baltimore Ravens.

The main character in this movie, Michael Oher (played by Quinton Aaron), is a real person. He plays left tackle for the Baltimore Ravens. The movie's title, "The Blind Side", means the blind spot in the visual field of a football quarterback. The left tackle's role is to defend the this blind side from attacks by his counterpart on the opposing team's defense.
"The Blind Side" is the story Michael Oher, and the love of the parents who constantly care for children, by protecting thier 'blind side.'
