Cluster Team received the First Recongnition of KOLAS

Regional Development Cluster Project Team of the Academic-Industrial Cooperation Association
(Prof/ Lee Choon-Man, Project leader/ Prof. Park Min-Won, Manager, Dept.of Mechatronics Engineering)
obtained the certification for International Test Recognition, after trying for it for a year.

The test field certification allows global recognition of high-accuracy unit components used in mechatronics fields and accuracy machines.
It is the only organization that is recognized for the test. It can globally circulate the certification according to the joint statement of ISO-ILAC-IAF.
It is expected that the right will help competitiveness of exporting companies.
Delivery and rotating components of mechatronics industry are tested in 4 categories of dynamics, 1 category of sound and vibration with precise testing devices.
It is expected that it will help many companies in the region to be able to improve their product qualities.

The reason for advancing for the test recognition certificate was to test Korean products that are in the market
and that are being evaluated for the qualities/commercialization, so that recognizable certificates can be issued for strengthening the cooperation between academics and industries. Also, testing equipment will be utilized for better use for better operation of the research center.
Furthermore, it may help us to participate in future research & development projects of Korea. We will secure the position of testing/certifying for full dedications to wards national projects.
