From August 3rd to 14th, the ¡®Pride teen camp¡¯ which started in agreement between Chang-nyeoung county and CWNU leadership center was held. This camp was a part of customized support business that commutes Gyeongsangnam-do free school meals. Also, this camp consisted of 2 camps. The first one (3rd to 7th) was English camp, and the second one (10th to 14th) was a self-directed learning camp. In this camp, about 200 students who live in Chang-nyeoung participated, their age varied from elementary students to high school students. Students had class in Building 11, and stayed in the Green hall.
At English camp, there were 5 classes classified by grade, and each class had a native-speaking instructor and two mentors. In this camp, students made an announcement about their dream and future job, and studied about some countries like USA or UK. Besides, students took an interest in English through some English games, and diverse extraordinary activities like play.
Following the English camp, the self-directed learning camp students had time to think about how they study and about their future. First, students had diverse tests like finger print examination and MBTI examination to figure out their own characteristic and personality. Based by the result of the examinations, students could know about their personalized way to study. Also, students had feedback and coaching with study professionals, and made their own road map of the future, they could become more certain about their future.
After the camp, at the completion ceremony held on the 18th, many excellent students got prizes, and had gave an English speech and presentation about their future road map.
