Kyungnam Unification Education Center held ‘Tongil Hanmadang Drawn By Us‘ at CWNU General Education Center (Building 85) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., on May 15^th, 2015. About 560 people including Kyungnam High School students, university students, experts of unification field and Kyungnam people attended this event. The purposes of this event are to raise students’ low interest in unification of the Korean Peninsula and to provide future generations the chance for sympathy on the unification era.

The event sponsored by the Ministry of Unification and was run by the department of International Relations of CWNU and Kyungnam Unification Education Center. Part 1 started with the high school and university students’ song in the theme of ‘Our Echo Toward Unification’. In Part 2, the discussion titled ‘Our Shout For Unification –Listen to Kyungnam People about Unification’ was held with 12 panelists, Lee Byung-mun (reporter of Kyungnam Daily News), Kim Youngh-wan (Unification Education Committee member), Kim Shin-cheol (Changwon Nam High School teacher), and others presented about expectation on unification and future relations with Korean neighboring countries. Part 3, ‘Our Story Toward Unification,’ showed plays of unification. 7 teams of high school and CWNU students’ teams as well as 'Point' of Chungnam National University performed dramas. The themes of these plays were various such as Korean sorrow of divided territory and plausible situation after unification. There were students in the audience who were moved to tears during the performances.
