Yun Jung-Ho in a Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of CWNU made a good showing at ¡°The National University Students Competition of Fluidics¡±, so he redounded school¡¯s honor.
Yun Jung-Ho received the bronze prize in competition.
This Competition of Fluidics is supported by ¡°The corporation aggregate KSME; the korean society of mechanical engineers.¡±. Although this competition is held for the first time, it is regarded as a prestigious competition.
Bewteen November 4th and 6th, ¡°The National University Students Competition of Fluidics¡± was held at Yong Pyong Resort, Gangwon Province Pyeongchang County.
The prizewinning thesis was done with designs of a Magnus effect driving system using circular cylinder, and Yun Jung-Ho collaborated with Kang Won-Tae, Kim Dae-Ho, Pak Gi-Hyeon under the guidance of Prof. Sin Byeng-Rok.
Youn Jung-Ho said that ¡°It isn¡¯t a good grade, but I¡¯m glad that our efforts have come to fruition. I¡¯ll endeavor to redound department and school¡¯s honor continuously.
The most difficult point in preparing competition was to fit my thesis into the format set by the KSME. And with the financial aid, I would have dome much better.¡±
