2009 Job Fair with university student in Gyeongnam province will be hosted by CNU on November 11th. It is going to be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the gymnasium of CNU. The General Human Resource Development Center of CNU aims to increase percentage of employment with its slogan “A person find a job on November 11th”. The number of participating companies is about 170.

The number of job seekers is expected to be more than 2,500. Last year, 2,400 job seekers participated in CNU’s job fair. Students from universities which are located in the neighboring cities account for 20 percent of overall participants. Two fifths of overall companies participate directly. The direct participation means a personnel manager of company does interview with job seekers and recruits new employees.

An official of The General Human Resource Development Center said “There are a lot of employment opportunities; interview, counseling, and recruitment. Various employment programs will fit each individual’s specific needs. Job seekers who want to join in the fair should carry a letter of cover letter and a resume.

This job fair is hosted by The General Human Resource Development Center of CNU. And it is supported by the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Small and Medium Business Administration, the Changwon Employment Security Center. CNU did public relation activities through television and radio advertisements. Unlike the past, this job fair is not localized in Changwon city and CNU.
