CWNU granted 1,281 students bachelor's degrees, 238 students master's degrees, 38 students doctoral degrees and 122 students completed an advanced level course. Among the graduates four foreign students received bachelor's degrees, four received master's degrees, and sixteen received doctoral degrees, for a total of 24. Among the graduates, Kim Hwa-yeong (Dept. of Korean Language & Literature, 09), who graduated at the top of her department while bring up a five years old child, and Hwang Hyeon-cheol (Dept. of Electronic Engineering, 05), who was a double major in Electronic Engineering and Culture and Heritage of the country, and got a job related to Chinese culture, got attention from the attendees. And Park Kwang-jin (Dept. of Physical Education, 07) received the first doctoral degree of a bike racer. He said "It was difficult to write a thesis for a doctorate that targeted bike racing. The data is very rare. But I'm glad to become the No.1 doctor of bike racing."
Twenty students, including superb graduates and great contributors, were standing on the platform to receive prizes from inside and outside the university. Students who studied hard gained the glory from faculty as excellent graduates and achievement awards were given to students who distinguished themselves in the university.
