The general human resource development center is using a Craftsman Computer Aided Mechanical Drawing (CAD) process to study the engineering-affiliated students for their success in landing a job. And they are also doing development and operations work with various employment programs.
Especially, the general human resource development center has recently adopted a major company open recruitment program and created a virtual major company, called CWNU, for the first time in Korea. This business posted job opening announcements that correspond with real businesses¡¯ announcements through a special homepage. Then they process the recruitment procedure virtually to attract the attention of the public. Also, they held a career camp for the lower grades at major company training institutes, and received a favorable review. In addition, CWNU is going to hold a job fair on campus on Oct. 15th.
A representative of CWNU said, ¡°CWNU¡¯s career program has made rapid progress. And our university is recognized among education-oriented universities in this area (first place in Gyeongnam Province). This result will continue to increase our employment rate.¡±
Joongang Newspaper did a 2010 comprehensive university evaluation. And CWNU was highly praised as the best university in Gyeongnam Province.
Education-oriented universities are ranked based on ¡ãpercentage of student who participate in internship ¡ãemployment rate ¡ãopen ratio of course evaluations result ¡ãquality teaching of the liberal arts and major courses related to employment.
Furthermore, in the ranking of education and finance, the position of professorial study has improved. Specifically, it has risen 21 positions over the previous year.
