The entrance examination public relations application provides a guide to entrance into the University, entrance examination Q&A, information about departments, the University calendar, a campus tour, panoramic pictures of buildings at CWNU, a public relations video, an e-book and routes to the University. Even a cellular phone can easily get this information regarding CWNU.
This application is available to download at the ‘Apple App stores’ for free. Prof. Park and students in Mobile-X club from the Dept. of Information and Communication Engineering participated in this program’s development. Mobile-X is the club developing most programs related to cellular phones. This club won a prize in contests regarding all kinds of mobile technology, and is now doing its best to develop iPhone applications. Jung Jung-Soo (Dept. of Information and Communication Engineering, 05) who was the team leader of this application development, said, “I felt great that I participated in the entrance examination public relations application development, and thanks to Prof. Park for giving me this opportunity. And I will develop a lot of iPhone applications.”
Meanwhile, CWNU concluded a memorandum of understanding with KT for Smart Campus construction cooperation for the first time in Gyeongsangnam-do, and is working hard for mobile campus construction. CWNU has a future plan to develop a lecture about cellular phones, and will get administrative services through applications of a smart phone, even when you cannot have access to internet service.
