AK’s abbreviation is “Automobile Kinetics” in CWNU Dept. of Mechanical Engineering and the AK mostly activities is making car oneself. Total member are 50 people and approximately 5~6 people are active. Next year, AK club will recruit 9th that AK has 8 year of tradition and club exist only Dept. of Mechanical Engineering. So, If I join this club, activities include the over all management and easy. Also, Activities time make you fell fit because club members are very similar schedule.

During the semester, main activity times are at the end of members’ classes and sometimes night work. During vacation, they work together almost every day on weekdays to create a car. So, the members participate in a tournament. Ordinarily, they do not get together on weekends because personal circumstances. So, no meeting time is designated and the club president arranges meetings with club members depending on circumstances.

As mentioned above, AK during the semester, the main activities include vehicle design, programming, determining which car to design, and which functions or features to create. During school vacations, you can begin to create your own car. The club participates in an annual convention, in Yeungnam, which includes a graded competition. And Kunsan is also hosting a competition; it is exciting to participate in several competitions each year to create cars with other clubs.

Finally, the club’s president Bak Jae-hyeon (07, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering) said that club’s mainly activity, making cars, is not cheap. So every year, the lack of support, budget and funds has been a difficulty for the operation of the club. But regarding activities within group itself, the seniority relationship within the group is without formality, almost like a family atmosphere among brothers. They receive awards, and multiple benefits, but the one difficult aspect is a little regret about the lack of funds.
