CWNU conducted a campaign for blood donation for 2 days, from May 17 to 18. CWNU students and faculty members participated in the event and volunteered to donate their blood as an act of charity. The blood donors showed their love for neighbors thru blood donation, and gave hope to those in need of blood. The number of people donating their blood has been decreasing over the years, and this act of goodwill will help spread the culture of blood donation.
The campaign used a blood donation campaign vehicle to attract volunteers. The vehicle was stationed in two places: in front of Bongrim Stude-nt Hall and Engineering College on Bldg. 51. CWNU¡¯s blood donation campaign aimed at helping those in need of blood. With a simple act of giving blood, the volunteers set a good example and made a difference. The campaign included giving away ¡®blood donation certificates¡¯ to the donors.
One student who donated blood said ¡°At first I was hesitant and had fear of blood donation. But after thinking that this small act can actually save lives, I was pleased. Now and forever, I have this noble spirit of sacrifice and the precious opportunity to provide hope.¡±
