A lecture and a performance was given by the singer Jang Sa-ik on April 28 at 7:00p.m. at CWNU Art college concert hall. The lecture was held at the invitation of Kyulriah(Liberal Best Academy). The lecture was composed of story about the life and few musical songs.

Music life Of Jang Sa-ik is about twenty years. He is a late bloomer kind of a singer. At the age of 46, he began the music and reached the age of 60 last year. However, since his music has all sorts of human emotions, his music has a strong appeal. He said several important features in his own music.

First, he borrowed poems about feeling and thought of life. Second, there are no identity and specific genre in his music. He enjoys every music regardless of genre. Whether it is a classical music and korean traditional music, he doesn't care if it helps his musical idea. In the performance, he sang a few Korean popular songs such as "Wild Roses," "Camellia Lady," "Spring has Gone," etc. He sang these songs in his own voice color. One of the audience asked "it was like watching a Seopyeonje. Do You have resentment?" At this question, we all laughed because of what he said. This lecture was a great opportunity to understand life of Jang Sa-ik and his music.
