CWNU Dormitory's 'estival of Grace'

CWNU dormitory residents?council leader Jung Yoon-Hun spearheaded the 12th annual university dormitory festival called the 'estival of Grace' from April 1st to 3rd. The university dormitories usually restrict access to outsiders but during the time of the festival, visitors such as family members and friends were allowed entry to the dormitory.

The festival also held an 'Open House' event from 10:00 to 19:00. During this time, men had free access to the women? dormitory, and vice versa. The opportunity to see what the other dormitories look like only happens during the festival, so the resident students had a lot of fun.

The festival kicked off on the first day with a table tennis tournament. In the tournament, some participants were asked to serve the ball using a paper cup. A movie was also shown at the Freedom Seminar Room, and a movie quiz was held after the showing. On the second day, game tournaments and a tree-planting event was held in celebration of Arbor Day. The dormitory residents' council also conducted a 'Clean-Up Campaign', where many tireless students voluntarily cleaned the areas around the pond and the dormitory. The newly-renovated pond and the nearby shooting gallery bring more people visiting the university.

The dormitories also have a bigger capacity, and this adds to the increase in the number of residents. It is therefore important to maintain the cleanliness in the school surroundings, so the university requires periodic cleaning.

Lastly, on the third day, 3:3 basketball tournaments were held, in which boys threw three-pointer shots and girls did free throws. The festivities were concluded by a 'Global Athletic Competition'. The famous singer 'One-Two' was supposed to perform at the festival's closing ceremony, but was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. Some people were a little disappointed by this, but the meaningful events and fun tournaments held during the festival were more than enough to make up for it.
